Research:

AI-Driven Software Engineering: The integration of artificial intelligence, particularly large language models (LLMs), into software engineering processes is being explored. This includes the use of LLMs for model synthesis in domain-specific languages and methods to ensure syntactic validity in LLM-based modeling tasks.
Model-Driven Software Engineering (MDSE): Methodologies and tools are being developed to leverage models for the automation and improvement of software development. Research focuses on generating customized low-code development platforms for digital twins and applying model-driven engineering in various domains.
Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs): The design and application of DSLs tailored to specific application domains are being investigated. This includes creating modeling tools and languages aimed at addressing the unique needs of different sectors, with a focus on enhancing precision and usability.
Information Systems: Model-based generation of enterprise information systems. This involves developing methodologies for the continuous transition from model-driven prototypes to full-scale, real-world enterprise applications. Additionally, strategies for retrofitting generative aspects into existing applications are being explored to improve maintainability and scalability.
