  • Exercises Einführung in die Theoretische Informatik, (Winter 2016/17)
  • Seminar in Business Information Systems, co-supervisor (Winter 2015/16)
  • Exercises Algorithmen und Datenstrukturen, (Summer 2015, 2016)
  • Exercises Einführung in die strukturierte und objektbasierte Programmierung, (Winter 2014/15, 2015/16)
  • Lecture/Exercise Current Topics in Business Information Systems, (Summer 2014, 2017)
  • Seminar aus Angewandter Informatik, co-supervisor (Winter 2013/14)
  • Lecture/Exercise Current Topics in Application Engineering: Ambient Assistance, (Summer 2013)
  • Exercise Einführung in die Informatik, (Winter 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15)
  • Ringvorlesung: Frauen - Männer - Wirtschaft, (Winter 2012/13)

  • Seminar in Application Engineering, co-supervisor (Winter 2011/12, 2012/13)
  • Exercise Informatik für Betriebswirte, (Winter 2011/12)

Moreover, I've been teaching in the NEMO Summer School (Next-Generation Enterprise Modelling, 2014-now) and in University Level Courses ULG IT Business Solutions for the M/O/T (Alpen-Adria-School of Management, Organizational Development and Technology).

Publications

My recent publications were concentrating on conceptual modeling (domain specific modeling languages, context modeling, graphical notations, modeling tools) especially in the active assistance domain. My PhD thesis at the Application Engineering group, AAU (Prof. Heinrich C. Mayr) was about cognitive modelling for assistance systems. Please see the publications until 2017 in the research documentation of the AAU.

For more publications of the Software Engineering group, please have a look at the prepared curated lists.

Projects

Projects at RWTH Aachen University:

  • MaCoCo: Management Cockpit for Controlling

Projects at AAU:
Since project start in 2011, I have been a team member of the Human Behavior Monitoring and Support (HBMS) project. See the video playlist for some of the results.

Academic Service

I helped in organizing the Informatik 2016, UNISCON 2012, Modellierung 2010.

Besides this, I have been serving in program committees of various conferences and workshops including Int. Conference on Conceptual Modeling, ER (since 2017), ER-Workshop on Conceptual Modeling for Ambient Assistance and Healthy Ageing, AHA (since 2015), Int. Workshop on Adequacy of Modelling Methods, AQEMO (since 2016), Studierendenkonferenz Informatik, SKILL (since 2016), Modellierung, Track Modeling Tools (since 2016).

Moreover, I have reviewed for the following journals: Enterprise Modelling and Information Systems Architectures - International Journal of Conceptual Modeling (EMISAJ), Business & Information Systems Engineering (BISE) Journal.

Regarding academic self-administration at the AAU, besides other functions, I was a member of the Senate (2013-2016), of the Committee of Continuing Education (2014-2016), of the Curricular Commissions Doctorate, Informatics and Information Technology, the Think Tank Young Academic Talent of the Vice-Rectorship for Research (2012-2016) as well as ERASMUS Coordinator for the Exchange between AAU and the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT), Germany (2015-2017).

Miscellanea

  • I have been appointed as a GI Junior Fellow in 2015, where I am the speaker at the moment.
  • I am a member of the executive committee of the SIG EMISA, the Special Interest Group on Design Methods for Information Systems, of the German Informatics Society (GI) since 2018.
  • Since 2018, I am a member of the QFAM (Querschnittsfachausschuss Modellierung) of the German Informatics Society (GI).
