BEST EnergyTopicThe project analyses and demonstrates the usage of information and communication technology for optimizing energy consumption of public buildings and street lighting systems. RWTH Aachen University is developing a software based analysis tool that supports energy experts in detecting energy wastage and misconfiguration of installations. Aditionally a web portal for end-user information about energy consumption is created. The prototype is used at the Informatikzentrum of Tchnical University of Braunschweig.
